Tobay Capital has been operating since 2006 as a boutique financial advisory firm specializing in the energy industry.  Tobay’s approach has been to focus on those firms that require sophisticated financial advice on transaction optimization and structuring but have had financings too small for other qualified firms.  Tobay has 25 years experience in all phases of energy finance from originations through workouts in all phases of the business including commercial banking, institutional investing and project development.  We can bring this capital markets and industry expertise to your projects.

 

News

New Client/Project—Tobay Capital has been retained by Panda Power Funds to provide advisory services related to LIPA’s recently issued RFP for capacity, power and related services.  

 

Conference Speaking Engagement — Larry Siegel has been asked back as a speaker at the 2010 SUNY Stony Brook Advanced Energy Research Technology Center conference.  He will speak on financing renewable energy projects in public private partnerships.  The conference will be held November 8 and 9, 2010 in New York City.  The Center’s conference web site can be found here. 

 

New Debt Fund — Tobay Capital announces the formation of the Senior Debt Renewables Project Fund.  Projects requiring at least $15 million of debt will be considered for funding.  Projects must be ready for construction start or in late stages of development.
